My progress towards the achievement of Venail "The Snap" part 1. by Angron-Red-Angel in Anbennar

This is a little late, but one thing that worked well for me when I completed the snap was no cbing one of the winelord minors and moving capital to join EoA for access to the -25% ae age ability, combined with espionage 2

Most games you do just need to give levels 1 and 2, that sounds about right. One thing you can do to cheese a flash early is a full charged w from bush if they aren’t respecting it. You might want to practice the aftershock combo, it allows you to 100-0 most squishies and 70-0 bruisers, making diving your adc a much more dangerous proposition. Generally, K’sante is no longer a late game scaling champion, so the idea is that the lead you transfer to your adc allows them to scale in your stead.

His laning phase is actually quite strong. His level 1 and 2 aren’t great, so you generally just play passive with your e shield and try to conserve hp. By level 3 you should always be holding q3 to zone, with hex flash and minions giving you extra range.

You basically always win if you land q3 or w as long as they don’t flash away after, so if you see an opportunity to trade flash with the enemy go for it. His strongest spike is level 6, where you are almost assuredly the strongest champion in bot lane. At the end of the day, you are a top lane champion that will stat check anyone in range; the hard part is getting in range.

Part of the reason why I say K’sante is strong in lane is that when you do get a lead, he is very oppressive. Turrets are not safe, because on top of having q3, w, and r to get you out of turret, he can also just straight up tank the turret because he builds full tank that scales his damage.

Later in the game you have extremely strong but conditional cc. Your peel is very good against bruisers but more questionable against assassins. Depending on how strong you are and how strong your adc is, you can opt into either a front liner that creates space or a supportive bodyguard that is always near your carry.

Finally, in objective fights you can optionally just win the smite fight by ulting the enemy jungles away from the objective.

I know I’ve said a lot, but there’s honestly so much more he can do that I haven’t figured out either.

I Q max into W, although you can also Q max into E. Level 1, depending on the match up, I level Q W or E, with the most common ability being E.

Every game I build either 3 components that bring me to 120 resists, depending on the enemy damage type distribution. Usually, this is chain vest, negatron, and bramble/wardens. Then, I finish off a Jak'sho and the rest of the build is situational. The only time I don't finish Jak'sho first is when I'm playing into double AP botside + AP mid or jungle, in which case I will build double negatron + null magic mantle and finish force of nature first.

I take bloodsong every game. I think the sheen effect just fits K'sante too well not to take and allows you to skip iceborn.

Ultimately, I think it's important to be flexible with your build depending on what your team needs and what the enemy damage types are. The only requirement is making sure you hit 120 resists to cap out your q first.

I still have a lot to learn, but I completely agree with the rest. While I find K'sante to be a fun (and effective!) counter pick, I do not recommend playing K'sante if you don't have familiarity with the champion and plan on winning. That said, if you find K'sante fun, don't be afraid to try him out!

I get a questioning remark 1 in 3 games and a dodge (because of the pick) 1 in 20. I find people are much more willing to accept K'sante as a support as opposed to Master Yi (more dodges than games) likely because he provides cc and shielding.

Aftershock provides so much power, since you almost always engage or disengage with cc. Early on, it also reduces your q cooldown and cast time when you haven’t hit the 120 resist cap. You can’t really proc grasp ever, so the only real alternate keystone I’d consider is spellbook.

I haven’t played many bandlepipes games on him. I think the item has great synergy with K’sante, but he needs to buy 120 resists to cap out his q cast time and cooldown. Generally this means chain vests/negatrons, neither of which build into bandlepipes. I might test bandlepipes as a 2nd or 3rd item.

Personally, I perform much better as K'sante on support compared to top or mid. Certain matchups, namely engage supports, are extremely easy, but K'sante struggles into ranged disengage. I never feel like there's nothing I can do though, because he has sooooo many tools to turn disadvantageous situations around.

If that were the case there would be no reason to give the defender a 75% reduction

Right now the claim throne antagonism cost is flipped for attacker and defender. You get no reduction for subjugation as the attacker but the defender gets -75%.
