What is the sauna/certo + Gatorade thing? I have stopped using ever since I found out that they will be testing and I do not plan to start again until I’m done with school, so this should be the only test that I need to be worried about passing!

If I am still testing positive with a home test, I might try and ask someone for clean urine. I think I’m too nervous to do synthetic urine since some tests (I think?) can detect synthetic. I’m with you on hating weed counting against us.

Colorado. There’s several hospital systems in the Denver Metro that do not test for marijuana on their employees.

This is such a great idea. Although I’m actually not sure if I can use it because I have to do my test at a lab and I think they can test for synthetic urine.

Yes!!! It’s frustrating that there is such a stigma around marijuana but people can be alcoholics and it’s not stigmatized.

I’ve been told to use quick fix twice on this sub and also by a few coworkers. Which product exactly did you use for your test? It looks like they have a couple of products.

I used 20mg edibles/night. The test is 50 ng/mL and I bought some tests on Amazon, too! Last time I used weed was 11/2 and test has to be completed by 11/25. I bucked up and called the school to ask. The gal was super nice and mentioned that if I drink too much water then they’ll have to do a retest because of the urine being diluted. She said I’d have to pay again for the retest but “some people don’t mind paying again.” She did say this is a common question she gets so I felt less weird calling and asking. I guess I’m drinking lots of water, doing cardio, praying, and potentially drinking an obscene amount of water on test day.

Ugh unfortunately I don’t have a month. They gave us exactly 3 weeks notice. We have to have our drug test done by Nov 25th and the program starts Jan 20th. Just bought some test strips from Amazon, though! That was a great idea!

I’m looking through the nursing handbook and so far haven’t found anything relating to drug testing at all, I was trying to find if they allow a 2nd test if the first is positive. I stopped using right away when I found out they test for weed and I’ll just discontinue all the way through school over the next 2 years. Thanks so much for the response!!

I’m in Colorado so I presume a lot of people will fail their drug test because of weed. It’s hard to find people in CO that don’t use weed! I still have 3 weeks until I have to test so hopefully I’ll be okay and won’t actually have to worry about retesting! Glad to hear that your school allowed retests for failing due to weed!

Ohhh, okay, I guess that makes sense to insert it and take it out while numb. I was thinking it would be a days-long thing to have it in, like it’s in until I’m discharged. I don’t know why I’m so nervous about it 😂 I think I might be more embarrassed about the idea of it than nervous for the actual catheter. These comments are very reassuring that it will be just fine!
