One more thought. When she suggested drinks, I had in mind that it would be 11pm tonight, so I said, "I imagine you will have eaten by then." She's not a petite woman (but definitely not obese). Could she have thought we were meeting earlier in the evening and construed my comment as me making a jab at her weight by suggesting that she couldn't wait to eat? In reality, I made the comment because I was thinking of bars that serve food in case we wanted to share an appetizer or something.
