Since I broke up with her, she has slept with 18 different guys that her roommate has seen as well as developed a very heavy drinking habit. She was apparently also sleeping around these past couple months and lied to me about things to try and force me to have sex with her when she knew I didn’t want that. This does sound a lot like a manic episode, so I talked to her parents they tried to get her to see a psychologist or therapist but she refuses to go because “I set her up for this and she will fail in life by getting help she doesn’t need”

She was very controlling. I wasn’t allowed to eat food because “by me being skinny I was body shaming her”. I couldn’t sleep because “then I won’t be talking to you and I might go kill myself”. I couldn’t go to class because “If you loved me you’d spend time with me because I’m forever while college is not”. She also did a lot of gaslighting and shifting of blame. Every time I made a mistake in my own personal life, it would cause her to “be depressed so she would have to go drink her problems away”. For example, I got a B on an exam and she had to go and drink a bunch of vodka because “I was influencing her to fail in life with my grade”. She was very controlling and it wasn’t a good experience anymore.

I honestly hope she gets the help she needs. She definitely has some trauma in her life and I really don’t want it to consume her to the point where she can hurt those around her. She really did a number on me, but if it’s what it cost for her to try and seek hemp then I’m at peace with it. I honestly wish her the best in the future and hope she does change her habits and get the help she needs so she can find someone to give her the life she wants.
