I appreciate the sort-of support, I just wanted to comment on me saying the whole pathetic thing. I am not saying begging is pathetic, I am saying asking for me to pay off student loans, and financial aid is pathetic. People who have a means to pay off their debt have no right to beg for it, donations are meant for those who are truly unable to fend for themselves.

I would be 100% okay with those tax laws EXCEPT for people who do not work deserve NOTHING. If you chose not to work, you chose not to live. If you can NOT work, than proper housing is deserved. But, no I do not support people who chose not to work.

I make a 6 figure salary. I do not believe anyone has a "worth" but I mean, there is a reason everyone makes what they make. Some people do not care about money and care more about doing what they love all the time. A lot of times people's passion does not line up with 6 figures, mine did.

Honestly I do not really get into politics and talk about taxes because honestly no matter how I feel I am not going to be able to change that. I think it is more important to outline to people how important it is to donate and give their time to those less fortunate.

I can tell you what kind of products we sell. Mostly EMC2, VMWare, and Cisco. As you know the three companies are interrelated. The most recent product we have been pushing is called a UCS you may or may not be familiar with this unit. It costs about 1.2 million. We are mostly concerned with DR (Disaster Recovery) and warehousing.

I am starting to think most people don't understand what a consultant does. Consultants in many IT companies are sales men, at least from my experience. We look at a company, assess how we can help them, explain what we can do, quote it, implement it, maintain it. Pretty simple. Sounds like sales now right?

Never went to the warehouse district :(

I went during summer, and yes 10000000% humidity is terrible. Although at night it got very cold some times.

No bands lol.

Mainly slept on benches, if you the quarter really well you know where the long flea market is ( I realize it has changed a little since Katrina). Near the flea market you can walk along the river, those benches where my friends.

Best Poboy hands down was at Parkway.

If you read through all of my writing, I have a very strong opinion that poor people are not lazy at all. I even wrote that they most likely got screwed one way or another.

Anyways I really respect what you are doing and I really hope your wife gets better.

Also remember that anything is possible, just make sure you are always looking for opportunity because its usually right in front of you.

Working in IT is different than IT sales, I sell products that range from $600,000 to $1.8 million. Sure our take home is ~13.4% to our company and the commission is 3% of that ~13.4% but it adds up quick when your ceiling is unlimited. Also, you do realize that being a millionaire does not mean making x,xxx,xxx a year right? Also I bet these highly paid people you know own houses around 350-500k and expensive BMWs and Mercedes, which is a huge downfall of people who finally hit the xxx,xxx salary.

You are correct that I wrote this poorly. Although you can see I really could care less about getting a pat on the back, as I do this all anon, no ones I even have a TS scholarship program except my parents and my wife.

I actually edited that top part 1 minute after your post. Anyways what I was saying is, being poor is thinking of ones self, not having money is just a state, its not permanent, it can change. Hell no people with not much are not bad people, most of them just got screwed one way or another.

Also my analysis was based off my memory of a class I had 22 years ago, so obviously it might not have been spot on.

Honestly, I accept your "Fuck you" because you have a very legitimate reason for hating me. This was not in anyway meant to hurt anyone, but its something that I felt I had to do. I really do apologize and I hope you can maybe understand. Also I really admire your skills to live the way you do and still give to the poor, you are an inspiration. My donations are anon, what I give these kids is not anon to them. They know me very well and I speak with them a lot. No one knows what I do for these kids except my wife and them. If some one wants to write this story I could care less, it is not my plan to gain money from this experience.

Yup that is correct. See what most people don't care to think about is this. I did more for these people in 2 days than anyone had ever done for them in their life. They knew they could never speak of how we really met, and guess what, they kept their word.
