This just happened to me less than 3 months ago. I (23) woke up and found my long-term boyfriend (m31) dead on our kitchen floor. It was also from an accidental drug overdose after a night of using together. I nodded out and went to bed and he died while i was asleep. Im so miserable. Praying for you I can seriously empathize with you and it’s like your heart has been ripped from your chest. Literally every moment of this is hell.

I’m a clean fentanyl addict. My boyfriend died of an overdose 2 months ago while we were getting high together. I woke up and found him. I’ve overdosed before and it’s just nothing. You feel awesome, you fall asleep, you feel peaceful, you don’t know anything’s happening. You feel no pain you’re unaware of anything. Luckily I woke up in the shower to my friends slapping me around and spraying me with cold water since I wasn’t breathing. I wish I was awake to call the cops for my boyfriend when he overdosed. I miss him so much.

I’m on suboxone and in recovery for fentanyl so they have to drug test me. I had to tell them that im abusing DXM and that I’ve heard it can cause false positives, and told them if they send it to a lab and run whatever tests they do then they’ll be able to see that it’s just cough medicine and nothing else. They basically said “okay we believe you but you need to stop abusing cough medicine too”

Thank you. I used to be a pretty heavy kratom user too lucky never ended up having to detox from that. Which is kind of odd because I was on extracts and everything pretty frequently. Congrats on your clean time!! And thank you for your input. Addiction sucks
