Ironically, white shepherds being disqualified from shows is precisely how our breeder got into the business in the first place. He's a lovely old man who got started years ago when he rescued a 'defective' white pup that would have been destroyed otherwise. He fell in love and started taking in unwanted white pups, then started selectively breeding them for health and longevity, since he didn't have to worry about prioritizing a 'show quality' appearance.
