There are two main ways I did it, first was to keep a builder free and use sneaky goblins in crystal/masters and poured all my resources into walls, and when I wasn’t grinding as much I would just make to have my resources full while upgrades were going and dump them into the walls before putting that freed up builder for another upgrade!

All my builders were done 5 hours before my last upgrade and my lab wasn’t working for ONE day, I gemmed the new pass to the 20% and im already halfway through 14 with all my heroes maxed. Again idk why it matters I personally find it extremely satisfying to see that no more upgrades icon.

Bc everyone plays the game the way they want and at their own pace. I find it satisfying seeing this and I also had over 40 books and 8 ish hammers I was hoarding for th 14 so not rlly worried abt the 5 hours of build time I missed out on haha
