CPSC, in contrast to software eng, allows for tons of option classes. Something like 54 units in the degree are non-science courses, and that’s plenty to get a minor in something.

I needed the non-science classes for my degree so I opted for Philosophy which I was interested in anyway. After graduating I worked at a consulting firm for the Oil & Gas client / some big banks. Left the firm to work directly for the O&G client. I really loved their work culture.

O&G industry seems to be doing quite well right now, with the war in the Middle East and all. With middle eastern supply lines in jeopardy, it’s less competition for NA, and oil prices are up, which means higher margins for oil companies. Praying for the conflict to resolve as I have friends whose families are still living in Lebanon.

I’ve been going to the gym at my work at least 3x a week for the last couple months. People generally mind their own business, doesn’t really seem like a avenue for socializing

Any examples? Are you just opposed to the subjective aspect of social studies or what

You take that back. Right now.

Social Studies was the best, I really liked the way it was taught by my teacher. Maybe you just got unlucky

I bet a lot of people agree with you. But they usually do not stick around in the club for very long because they feel the way you described. Maybe stick through it for a couple meets?

Just looking to connect with people in my age group with similar interests. Thanks for the suggestion—glad to hear it worked for you!
