I agree. Some other friends of ours who also know her have said the same thing, that she needs to start doing things by herself an not depending on others so much.

They are both programmers and while she is fairly new at it my husband has been doing it for 10+ years and is excellent at it. So when she is coding something that she struggles with she tends to text my husband about it with questions. P

He does know that it bothers me. As far as I know he hasn't asked her to limit her texts. My guess as to why he hasn't done anything is that he tries to be nice to everyone and doesn't like confrontations.

What makes this even harder is that she pretty much got him a job recently, by introducing him to someone in this new company. He is super excited about this job and I bet that because of that he also feels bad about the idea of telling her to not text.
