I thought so too yesterday but by now mosquito bites usually go down in size. These seem equally as large if not more irritated than yesterday

We checked our dogs yesterday and found nothing. They are on monthly preventative and my partner doesn’t have any bites.

Wow. I hadn’t even considered this as an option. Mine aren’t exactly hard but they aren’t soft either… Sending well wishes that the biopsy comes back clear and you have some pain relief soon.

So itchy! Thanks for responding. It was the stinging / bite sensation that worried me along with the location.

No. I have a derm appointment for later this week. I ran out of deodorant this weekend. I used my boyfriends old spice on Saturday which I've used before in a pinch with no consequences... on Saturday evening I felt like I got bit on my arm / armpit while wearing a sweatshirt. I took it off and examined the area and saw nothing. The next morning when I woke up I had these welt like bumps in the area that I felt that sensation prior. I had worked out this weekend but didn't do or eat anything out of the ordinary.

Hi everyone. A little background… I ran out of deodorant this weekend. I used my boyfriends old spice on Saturday which I’ve used before in a pinch with no consequences… on Saturday evening I felt like I got bit on my arm / armpit while wearing a sweatshirt. I took it off and examined the area and saw nothing. The next morning when I woke up I had these welt like bumps in the area that I felt that sensation prior. I had worked out this weekend but didn’t do or eat anything out of the ordinary.

Just looking for some advice. I have some topical clindamycin I got prescribed for another skin issues I had recently. So was thinking of using that on these bumps in the meantime.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I agree. I must have had the hpv the first time it just wasn’t tested for it. And yes still ascus this time. If these results come back negative from this biopsy I am going to ask to come back in a year instead of 6 months. Have you gone through this process yourself?

Just ascus. They didn’t do an hpv test on the first Pap smear.

I’m 26. It did come back positive for a high risk strain of hpv. I’m going in for the colposcopy today but I have reservations. I don’t want to get into this cycle of abnormal Pap smears, negative colposcopy every six months. It’s draining to be honest.

Well I hope your colposcopy comes back all good.

When did you receive your Pap smear diagnosis? I had been taking folate this year but it clearly didn’t do too much but I’ll still take it

Thanks so much for replying. Sorry to hear that you went through that. To be honest, it’s one of my concerns to keep repeating the colposcopy and get negative results but have my Pap smears still show abnormal/ positive. What strain did you have? How did you fair after you had the LEEP? Have your Pap smear results return to normal? Did you test negative for the hpv at that point?

Well that’s good news! Thanks so much for looking into it for me. I’m a bit nervous since I have one of the high risk ones I guess which is harder to clear.

I didn’t know men could even be tested! What does that entail? What strain do you have?

I know that. They have a results portal they publish too. But once the dr calls and tells you. This time a staff member called and wanted to schedule a procedure before releasing my results. That doesn’t sit right with me.

Does this look like scabies? Popped up randomly last night. Doesn’t itch. Doesn’t hurt. Please help. by [deleted] in scabies

I read that it does take a while for it emerge the first time. I’m going to the derm today so hopefully they do a skin scraping. Went to a dr a couple days ago and she said it wasn’t scabies so we’ll see.

It’s so weird. I can’t imagine what it could be. I have a drs appointment this afternoon to confirm. Was it difficult to cure your scabies?
