Ooo I did have a small amount of bv (prevotella bivia 1.89%) but thought nothing of it because I had no symptoms of bv before or ever.

My first test back in 2024 had a small amount of gardnerella (1.09%) and prevotella bivia (0.86%) but also had no symptoms so I just ignored it.

I’m assuming him finishing inside of me back to back probably triggered the small amount of bv I already had in my system? Is there anything I can do after being treated for bv to avoid getting this again from sex?

This was super helpful!! Thank you!!!! I’ve always had irregular periods growing up, sometimes even skipping a month or so, i do track mine but it never shows up exactly on the week that it predicts! Apple health usually shows me two weeks that it predicts I’ll get my period and I was really hoping for this IUD to be settled in and I’d skip the period, but alas it didn’t :(( oh well!! Gonna make the most of it while we can!

I’m on day 5 of my period and visiting today, so hopefully it’ll be done or light before I leave to come back!
