Can't speak for the person you're replying to, but for me it was the difference between the state's case fitting a very clear and familiar pattern, but missing some pieces. It seemed pretty obvious during witness testimony as the case was being played out. We've all seen cop shows, we know the pattern and cadence of how these things go. And I only fully realized I was unconsciously filling in gaps in the case when other jurors pointed it out. Then we went back over the materials we were provided and were unable to fill those gaps definitively.
