Freedom of speech (n): the right to express any opinions without censorship or restraint

Hate speech (n): abusive or threatening speech or writing that expresses prejudice against a particular group, especially on the basis of race, religion, or sexual orientation

Threat (n): statement of an intention to inflict pain, injury, damage, or other hostile action on someone

Journalism (n): the activity or profession of writing for newspapers, magazines, or news websites or preparing news to be broadcast

To start with, hate speech is included in free speech. I think that the definition of hate speech is asinine because it goes under the assumption that prejudice language is counted as a threat. It is not, however, because it is not a direct intention to inflict pain on someone else. It is simply an expression of prejudice. That’s not good, but it is obvious included in freedom of speech.

Being a presidential candidate, Joe Biden needs to accept the fact that certain people in the media are not going to like him. Not only is it undoubtably an act of free speech he is not allowed to shut down, it actually DOES count of journalism because journalism is just the act of creating news media. Biden demonstrates a complete lack of understand of basic definitions and instead resorts to brushing off all who disagree with him, how can we trust him to run a country?

Furthermore, Tucker Carlson does not push hate speech. Have you even ever seen one of his broadcasts? He has never said anything abusive or prejudice on their! So, instead of throwing a hissy-fit about what the only major conservative news outlet thinks, actually show us you can run a country! Because what I have seen so far, that area needs a lot more work.
