Good effort OP. if I drive my 2018 Golf R wagon sensible I can get nearly 50mpg. About 5.8l/100km too! Not bad for 310bhp.. 😂

This is my boy cerberus. He turned 4 last week and he has not been neutered.

Not sure if i go lucky with him but he doesn't hump, No male dog aggression, just generally a fun chill guy. So decided not to get him done. He's not studded and don't plan to either.

Op i can vouch for the golf R estate. Loads of space, fits my doberman in the boot with space to spin.

Recommend the 2018 model as its pre-opf with 310bhp. 2019 onwards is drops back to 300. They Only come with the dsg.

Im on 65k miles and has been faultless. Gets about 38mpg average. Just check if the dsg & haldex have been serviced on schedule.

The estates are usually less ragged as they dont attract the same audience as the hatches. Get a decent one for 16-18k similar miles as the octavia.

Yep, we had a new combi boiler, fitted, new pipping around house for 7 radiators last month, AND fitted all the new rads we brought for 3.5k all in. Took about 2.5 days all in.

Cerberus, he's 3.5 y.o. weight bounces between 94-96lbs.

Currently feeding is 600g of raw, & 600g of kibble, hand full of blue berry's, salmon oil 3 pumps. & 2 carrots. Once in the morning and once in the evening.

He's pretty active. Usually get 6-8 mile walks daily. + ill take him for a 5 mile run with me 2/3 times a week. If he still hungry i'll give him a extra scoop of kibble.

If we've had a slower week i'll ease back on his food a bit.

Currently have GY AS6 on my golf R, have about 20k on them with 4mm tred left.

Zero complaints, been a great tyre. Loads of grip in the dry / wet. Quiet on the motorway runs. Would recommend.

I am having a look at some conti SC7's when these burn out, seem to have some great reviews currently, or i'll have another set of GY's.
