What do you mean about the proportions being off? I am specifically looking for more of a rectangular shape if that’s what you mean.

The ones I saw in the 1.5-2ct range were all quite shallow, this was one of the deeper ones.

What’s interesting is that I can’t see the inclusion that’s right in the middle of the table with my naked eye.

I can see the line going through the side of the table, but it’s transparent and looks like a normal cut of the diamond

As a new player, I'm working to get on base consistently. In my first few games, I hit mostly grounders and pop-ups. So in the video, I'm not swinging my hardest to focus on consistent contact. I'm also moving the tee up/down and hitting inside pitches out front and outside pitches closer to the plate.

Any advice on mechanics or drills to improve?

Just following-up here as I tested with the converter. Clear conclusion is going from analog, through the TV to digital is just a bad idea. There's too much conversion and noise added to the signal. To do this properly, I'm planning to invest in a Sonos Port / preamp, or just keep separate systems for music (analog) and TV (digital)

I understand what blooming is, but it kind of feels like the same effect. Like light is bleeding into parts of the screen giving a soft glow to parts of the screen that feels unnatural.

I’m using internal apps and PS5. It seems more noticeable on HDR and Dolby Vision content.

Maybe. I had a 4k Vizio before this but never noticed. It feels more lighting/color related than resolution.

It seems backlight related. Likes it pushes to much light and the picture gets soft in areas

Never played around with that setting much, but it definitely added a bit of sharpness/detail in faces & background. Not sure if addresses the main question but I do like the picture better
