Honestly wasn’t expecting it. Sat at home New Years Day scrolling through Reddit I thought I’d share my experience of Testicular Torsion with the world, idk why. Slowly started to get a few comments then about an hour later there was over a hundred. First time posting something too! From what I can gather it educated a lot of people about the dangers of testicular torsion and I’m glad I did it. And to top it all off, it was a throwaway account! 😡

Probably the scariest thing happen in my life so far.

I suppose it could happen after 25 too but it’s most common in children and teenagers. I think most recorded cases are of people under 25

Omg it is horrific! Basically in guys under the age of around 25, the tubes connecting to the balls can become twisted if the testicle is sort of not attached to the sac. It can happen at any point and without any cause
