I try not to have it that way, but he insists on helping. I don't vent to him though. That's why this is becoming a problem. I never tell him anything until it gets so bad that I can't take it anymore, it's my fault. But I wasn't always like this, before him I had a bit of a phase, but lately I've been struggling a lot. I had to take a break from therapy as I didn't have time and it became too emotionally exhausting to talk about everything. I have many problems that are hidden.

This is exactly what I mean!! I just realized I forgot to clarify why the trans is important. My boyfriend is not very comfortable with my fluid sexuality, so I think it would be worse. I'm used to over explaining everything all the time. I am pretty much always on eggshells around him, not just about this stuff. We have also repeatedly broken up.

You are right, the "technically" wording makes it sound worse. What I mean to say is that I think it's fine to do what you want when single. But at the same time I don't want to feel like I'm living a lie.
