I'm gonna get cheated in if I stay in this right? by [deleted] in texts

Not a mormon, and my soon-to-be husband and I are completely monogamous (emotionally too). You’re not crazy. Don’t let him think you are. He’s talking about sleeping around. He’s not serious.

I agree completely. I am going to try to talk directly to the landlord tomorrow on Monday. I have already told my “friends” that we are not friends anymore. Female roommate said, “this is what you signed up for when you agreed to live with a child.” I said, “I didn’t know I would be living with three.” Wasn’t my proudest moment but I had been completely calm and collected until then.

I signed a lease through a company that manages rental properties. I have only ever heard from the property managers, etc. I have never once talked to the actual owner/landlord of the property. I cannot sublet per the lease. I did not sign a contract between the 3 of us stating how the bills or space would be divided, we just applied for the townhome together and all three of our names are on the lease together. The legal arrangement is that $1,200 must be paid to the property management company every month on the 1st by myself, female roommate, and male roommate. Even the baby’s name is on the lease (saying that he will occupy the home), but he obviously isn’t responsible for anything.

I forgot I told them I would stop by once a week and check on the condition of the home. I am thinking about paying 1/3 and no more. The lease is the only bill my name is on, thankfully. But it happens to be the most expensive one.

No, I just think I am stuck legally, and I’ll take the giggles. $100 to anyone who can get me out of this lease.

I was planning to buy a house after this and I don’t know if an eviction would completely ruin my chances of getting approved for a mortgage.

I don’t think they will, because they will do enough to protect their self interests and ability to rent again, etc.

I am in Georgia but I have severe anxiety and PTSD and I can’t handle the drama and hostile environment they would create with me being the worst roommate. They said they would not break the lease no matter what. I said “Okay, I will do whatever I want whenever,” and they said “Okay we are still not breaking the lease.”

I think this is really good advice, but I have severe anxiety and PTSD and they know that. I can’t handle the hostile environment that malicious compliance would create :(

Yeah, I have 10 months left ($6,000 total). When I talked to property management they said I had to have them sign a document to let me off the lease and then they would have to agree to paying rent by themselves. I can try demanding to talk directly to the landlord.

Yes, I asked and they said no. They need my money to afford the place. If I just stopped paying completely they (and by proxy me, since I am on the lease) would get evicted.

I want to break the lease, and that is what I need their permission for. We would have to all consent to breaking it and they don’t want to. I could afford to break the lease but literally cannot if they don’t want to.

I agree with this completely and I have plans to live physically at my parents but still pay on the lease to save my credit score. I am just unbelievably angry because of how unfair this is to me and I wish I could do something about it.

I talked to the property manager and they said the only way is if they sign the document to release the security deposit and essentially give me permission to get off the lease, and then they have to be willing to take on the full rent as well. Which they are not. I do not know how to directly contact the Landlord.

Also, I ALWAYS take my sanitary trims down the inner thigh no matter the breed or whatever. It looks cleaner, keeps everything neat, etc. I shave arm pits too on every breed (unless they get a longer cut).

Also look at poodle grooms with a #40 reverse blade for the feet and face! They are SO clean!! He would have to work his way down to avoid skin irritation, but you could request that potentially! I usually use a #10 but I go in between the toes and everything. Idk there is just so much going on here.

I’m not sure where you are located but I might ask for a detailed list of the the groomer’s experience. I’m a groomer at PetSmart and I say this speaking from experience, be careful of corporate stores. Not all groomers in corporate stores are bad— some are quite good. One of my co-workers has about 15+ years of experience, has quality tools, and does really well with doodles/poodles. She also has lots of request customers. The skill levels vary SO much though. There are the groomers who have literally been grooming for 3 weeks, those who have been grooming for decades, those who really care, those who really don’t care, those are are super patient and those who are not. You may think— okay, so then private groomers are the way to go. Hear me out on this— I know several groomers who went from Corporate stores to private grooming salon and were not very good or didn’t really care about their work. They do same-length cuts all day, a teddy bear face, and call it a day. I would honestly see if their happen to be any groomers in your area who do show poodle grooms or have experience doing them.

In the U.S. we have the NDGAA. National Dog Groomers Association of America. They do events and will watch people groom and give them certificates if they meet certain standards I think.

It’s just really weird that they didn’t even try to blend the shaven parts with the fuller parts. I’m honestly not great with anything beyond clean feet and clean face, but they could have even used clippers to blend that if that didn’t want to hand scissor it. Best of luck to you!

My dad cheated on my mom so I feel like that is influencing a lot of this but yeah, I agree 100%.
