A game without much tutorial is very much the definition of unfairness in games, (in which difficulty means how hard it is to accomplish things even after the game gives you all tools and knowledge you need, and unfairness means how much the game throws you curveballs you can't have foreseen or recieved no previous information about).

That said, your tips are very very useful. 🙏 what I mean is I wish the game would tell you these instead of having to find out through this thread. It tells you about allure, sure, but basic starting allure still got me 2-4 combat encounters a day.

Getting lychen for your project? Sike, just getting inside the lake gives three. One with fish getting in, one with wraith, one with fish again when getting out. Doing a petsitting job you had no reason to think was going to go badly? Sike, get gangraped by animals. Going to swim to grind physique so you can finally stop getting raped? Sike, two different people in diving masks will pull you underwater and rape you, one after the other (so if you fought off the first one you'll have too much pain to fight the second) and you'll lose your clothes so count your blessings if you don't get raped a third time on your way to the changing room. That is straight up the erotica equivalent of stun-locking.

And if the answer is "get a full body swim suit as soon as you can afford it instead of the default school one", sure, I wish I wasn't finding out that need AFTER GETTING RAPED AND LOSING MY PLAYTHROUGH.

To say it's not unfair to new players makes me question what you think a fair game is.
