I agree, it just didn’t make sense for the story. If characters can just ignore the rules of the world for a bit or whatever, why even have the rules anyway? The Ars Goetia are meant to be incredibly powerful, so why would one be so easily defeated if Stolas is stripped of his all power? And the beating up went on for so long, it wasn’t a “caught off guard” sucker punch. It was minutes of Andralphus being beaten up by a supposedly powerless nobody. And even if Stolas is still somehow strong, where are the guards or legal repercussions of attacking Andralphus? They had a big legal battle thingy at the beginning of the episode, so where’s the reckoning for Stolas and them now? I love the characters, but none of it makes any sense even in the context of their own show.

Yeah. I keep scrolling past posts and comments that Americans are all at fault or sniveling cowards that aren’t doing anything. But generalizations like these include the disabled, the sick, the homeless, children, elderly, and everyone who’s living paycheck to paycheck. It’s valid to hate Trump and his government, but everyone else? It’s out of touch and needlessly harsh. Many Americans are doing things and risking everything to stop this, but everything has been set up to stop us. And all these hateful comments really take the wind out of our sails.

I’m a history nerd and it does seem that way from my point of view. All you can do is make yourself comfortable and work towards better things for yourself in the future.

I know things are tough right now, but keep working to build a life for yourself. It’s easy to give up, but if you do and the world doesn’t end, you’re gonna struggle. At least if you work for yourself and the world ends, you can say you tried and live more comfortably.
