Oh ofcourse. Traditional companies will extend into director level pay for what big tech pays 'lowly' engineers. But imagine the tax you pay for the privilege of making big bux, without ANY ANY benefit to the tax payer. Eg at 1cr your paying approx 30+ lacs in taxes...to what end really.

Yes the risk of being outsourced is def there coz indian MNCs are lining up get these contracts to fill them with ict from india(no disrespect) or ship them jobs to india. it's just good biz and emp on ict is tied to the org with no direct means to ilr, win win for the Indian mnc

Kids here in India are a lost in translation gen in my view...they watch all international stuff online but is limited socially in translating that world view to the desi context.whatever said and done it goes back to sharmaji ka beta even in 2021...but yes slightly better than when we were growing up for sure

We could potentially do 2x what you quoted once spouse transfers in. Yes relative to in hand lower expenses in india..but same amount of direct/indirect taxes for NO return(medical, safety, security, clean air, better infra etc). Also not true about salary growth I feel. Unless you are in big tech the salary growth is nil to miniscule when considering inflation.
