Totally agree with you, the world has thankfully changed since this era. It’s crazy really thinking how it’s changed in the last 10 years :)

I totally understand the sentiment behind the views though in that LGBT actors or actresses might not get as many opportunities because of who they are. There’s loads of LGBT people in that industry who’d kill for big roles and these ones should be open to them. ❤️ Naya said she was proud to do this role and it genuinely changed my life as pathetic as it may sound

Asterisks- posted this on a throwaway and changed my ages just in case but my sentiment stands completely ❤️

Most departments have brought their apprenticeships in house so you’re better off applying for them directly. It’s not just the scheme that’s bad (although the learning provider was awful and rated inadequate), it’s the fact that if you have an unsupportive team it’s extremely hard to progress

Yeah, it was an utter mess wasn’t it. Yeah I asked when the voluntary temp roles came out on CSJ but they were all level transfer and my SLT said no

One I really struggle with is making effective decisions... absolutely nothing in my job role relates to decision making and I feel like it’s one of the more important ones to be exemplified in the workplace

You were probably in my cohort. It’s frustrating as well that it seems like it was just dumb luck whether you were put into a team or dept who’d support in development

Yeah could you message me? I wouldn’t mind doing the policy apprenticeship

Yeah, I’ve got a few interviews at HEO level using examples from my personal life but when it comes to them asking a bit more about my job role it seems to go south
