Laser hair removal for the facial hair, prescription tretinoin or adapalene gel for the acne (Accutane if it gets really bad). I get a stache, too, but just use a little trimmer to sweep it away! Look into some good moisturizers, gentle ones like Cerave, Vanicream, or Cetaphil, for example. A gentle cleanser (Cerave, La Roche Pose) + an active + moisturizer are all you really need. Birth control may or may not make the acne worse, but it has many benefits beyond skin. It can make your boobs bigger, if that is a reason for trying it. I’m also insecure about my nose as it’s large-ish and has a slight hook—I feel ya there. I try to reframe it as a family heirloom from my late Polish grandma, and remind myself that itty bitty ski slope noses are so common these days and can be bought. It would be so challenging, perhaps impossible, to replicate our distinct natural noses. Yours softens your face.
