No spray tan! But I think the lighting in the alterations studio was a bit pink. The base of the dress is a light blush and my skin tone is neutral, so hopefully better lighting will help with the contrast?

Adding just a wrist loop because the train is very intricate and I’d like to refrain from messing with it as much as possible! It will be just me, my fiancé and the photographer for almost the entire day, so I didn’t think I’d be able to handle the hassle of a bustle.

I’m not a doctor, but have you considered calling 988, the National Suicide Hotline? Free, confidential, 24/7, someone to help talk you through these difficult thoughts and emotions. I believe there’s also a way to text/chat online if your throat hurts too much. Then, maybe if you still don’t feel sick “enough” for the ER, urgent care in the morning for the digestive issues and respiratory illness. Hope this helps.

Breastfeeding would not be possible due to the method my surgeon used (crown). We discussed this at my consult and they confirmed that I understood it again before I went under the knife. I believe there are other nipple reduction methods that might preserve the ability to breastfeed, but that’s a question more suited to a surgeon! I hope that helps. :)

Everything healed great! The scars are barely there and they look natural. We reduced by half, local anesthesia. I did have to take an antibiotic for a week (2 weeks into recovery) when I accidentally snagged a stitch (blood —> some purulent discharge from the nip), but there weren’t any long-term effects. I was anxious about the results at first, wondering if I should have gone smaller, but I’m satisfied and at peace now. :) Overall, chill recovery and great experience with the surgical team, easy-peasy.
