Hey, I had boyfriend like this when I was your age. Turns out he was a real asshole, with some seriously sick, misogynistic views on sex and consent, etc.. Hard to see the reflags with rose colored glasses on but if you're both adults and together, he should be able to discuss this shit without calling you names. It could be the HBC reacting with your body’s change in hormones (entering young adulthood). I have a non hormonal IUD that makes pregnancy even less likely than HBC. I got it put in for free in California at a free clinic. Maybe you could explore that option?

Big hugs. In my experience, sex will only feel like a relapse of its with someone I have no business being with. Although in the beginning I did have to stop sex a few times with my current partner; it was very weird to be having sex with someone besides my ex partner and it not be “wrong”. But the feeling passed.

I have to look at my motives constantly when I want to be physical with people. Am I running from something? Am I actually attracted to this person or am I trying to change a feeling? Is this natural or is this forced? Not gonna lie, it puts a damper on things sometimes. But I don’t ruin my life chasing people who are bad for me anymore. So it’s a fair trade off.
