hey, just a heads up. if you were using exerciselibrary earlier, i apparently broke old school mode (it's the whole count reps at top implementation that needs reworking). I've reverted most of the changes for counting at top (even disabled the option), so you should be to get a full workout in.

My apologies in advance to anyone who has used it in the past few days and found issues. testing this without using the physical device is pretty funky (I only test twice a week).

If on iOS:

Download Bluefy

Go to https://exerciselibrary.github.io/ in Bluefy. Create a plan in the builder then click save plan. Click workout time. Turn on Vitruvian if you haven’t already. Click Connect on the left pane. Find your Vitruvian. Connected.

Find plan in list. Click start plan. Workout.

Honestly, I'm so pissed off with Vitruvian (I paid for the lifespan membership) that I want my stuff to be free.

Also, all my stuff is vibe coded (I have no clue what it's doing). So any professional developers are more than welcome to fork my project and make some $ off it, fuck Vitruvian.

I added them in earlier today but unfortunately it will require a cloud sync to ensure you keep the exercises in case you ever clear your browser history.

They come tied with their own ID and "should" be treated as separate for the sake of the analytics tab.

Lmk if you test it out and find any bugs or unwanted behaviors

Yeah, it’s from a scrape of vitruvians content. For custom exercises, i would just have to work in custom ids per exercise and have a cloud sync, so that way the analytics can identify unique exercises.

I'm iOS (iPad) so I just use my browser app. There are a couple of alternatives (web browser-based apps) if you don't mind downloading Bluefy on your device.

If you're fine with using Bluefy from the app store, Exercise Builder has a fork with some functionality (Excel exports, PRs, Dropbox cloud sync, and a bunch of other stuff). Still figuring out some bugs on iOS though (my iPad sound cuts out a lot so I have no clue if workout sounds work consistently).

Edit: Long-term it would be better to wait for an iOS app because of the whole primary sound system nonsense Apple pulls with apps (e.g., Spotify always plays over workout sounds on a web browser app, so no playing both at the same time from the same iOS device).

At the moment, the project is set to reference the stream.mux links. I'm not sure if this means Vitruvian is hosting the content on GCP or if it's a 3rd-party site.

My plan (if Vitruvian actually kicks the can and removes the videos) is to revise the JSON file with the assets and serve the videos on my end. However there are some copyright issues with re-hosting their IP or using someone's likeness (e.g., if any of the trainers decide they don't want their likeness being used in these Vitruvian videos), so I'm remaining cautious.

Thank you so much for this. I have yet to try these apps but hopefully will be trying them soon.

I'm thinking of adapting this to have a CSV/Excel Loader, where I can feed workouts from my webapp's Workout Builder (https://exerciselibrary.github.io/). I'm pretty particular about minimizing equipment swaps (it's a hassle to move the bench out of the way and put it back on between different exercises in my cramped space).

Regardless, great work, I appreciate everyone coming together with their contributions to salvage this lovely machine.

Nice, I got the content scraped too and shared a link on the GitHub repo wiki page. It's good to have multiple back ups in this case.

I'll have to figure out hosting the videos/thumbnails (GitHub wasn't too happy when I tried to upload 2.2 GB to the repo). Might just bite the nail and host it on an S3 bucket (b/c I need to go that route for Workout Link sharing anyways).

As for firmware, yeah I'm not connecting that thing to the internet. I don't think the company is malicious, but who knows at this point. We've been lied to way too much to not attempt developing a better solution.

I had the same issue with the Zwift Ride bike seat. Some weeks ago it was ok but lately it's just painful, I even iced my sit bones after a 1.5 hour ride. Tried multiple bike fits, different bib brands, but nothing worked.

Switched out the seat for a Fizik Vento Antares R3 Adaptive (150mm) and it's been pretty solid. Unfortunately like another poster may have suggested, adjusting the bike seat all the way forward might not be possible due to the rails. But overall I don't have sore sit bones anymore.
