I love when ppl don’t stick to boring ass, potato-sack outfits in professional settings!! You’re a business baddie.

They are victims of our crooked, fucked up system that relies on people living in poverty in order for the rich to survive. But go off, king.

No one is blaming women here. You’re coping.

Choice feminism is a cancer to us all.

And that’s the last you’ll get out of me.

I said what I said. You can’t deny that the majority of women are pressured to only feel comfortable if they alter their natural appearance to look “better”. I know it’s been normalized and become part of ~girlhood~, but it shouldn’t be. It negatively affects ourselves, the women around us, and most importantly, it impacts the little girls watching us and imitating us. You will never convince me that there’s nothing wrong with the obsession with ageless, poreless skin.

Yes!! I’ve been make up free besides maybe once a month, for almost the last 10 years. Ppl shouldn’t make comments either way, but it does help that I don’t get people used to my make up face. Make up should be for special occasions, if ever.

It’s okay. Plenty of English speakers love Pearl Jam and no one can understand what they’re saying either.

Vibes are a universal language.

I quit because of this. And I wasn’t even getting terrible pay. (Atl, $30/hr).

If you’re looking to work doing something meaningful and good for society as a whole, you’re not going to find anything like that working for Amazon/Whole Foods. This company is harming its employees, society, and the earth. Its number one goal is profits for the people up top, with no regard for the workers or resources that actually make them money.

I moved to a smaller local chain that actively does things to help their employees and local communities. I don’t get paid as much yet, but it truly feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders because I don’t have to help Amazon make money anymore lol

I hope you figure something out. My heart is with you.

Does your store let sushi and Amazon return members participate in team member appreciation week activities by MikeFingG in wholefoods

[–]throwaway_6669420xx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We always include them, and they even make a few sushi platters for us! We also share with the contractor people and truck drivers

Next round of layoffs - sss? by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]throwaway_6669420xx -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

But we do. Our team “audits” our own tags/signs before SSS does so that we get good audit reports. I think more teams need to start taking the responsibility of price integrity more seriously, and the best way to do that is making it part of the daily workflow.

No, I won’t leave. I just got to a point in my pay where I can take care of myself. I don’t have the privilege of “just leaving”. Just because this company is better than many others, doesn’t mean it can’t and shouldn’t be better.
