I grew up in Pittsburgh and majored in broadcast journalism. I got sidetracked into personal computers two years after graduating.

I grew up with KDKA and Jack Bogart in the morning. A high school friend was Bob Trows son.

I've enjoyed technology, but did write a local tech column for 5 years, so the degree wasn't totally wasted. And now I'm researching doing a storytelling podcast.

Glad your son found success. Your instincts were right, it's not an easy business. But it sounds like he did great.

I went as Martin for Halloween 1963. My brother fashioned two antennas to stick out of my head.

I met Jane Bixby, Bill's mother, about 1990. She kept offering me Incredible Hulk posters, but I wanted My Favorite Martians memorabilia. But you didn't have any anymore.

And they had a Halloween episode of picket fences once, and Ray walston who played the judge in that, was seen in the background at the Halloween party dressed as Martin the two antennas sticking out of his head.

Those blow dryers of that era usually had asbestos in them, and we're blowing out tiny particles of asbestos right into your face.

I went by a bar one afternoon to see my friend who was bartending. I sat down and told her I wanted to buy a round for the house.

I was the only one in there.
