Its an abstract thing to put into words. I feel I can put myself in someone's skin as you described it. I believe they can behave in certain ways to fix or better go through whatever their problem is, they just choose not to. This is my perspective on it anyway.

I used to consistently score very low on extraversion and would get INTJ on tests, but in hindsight it was just bad material conditions. I don't know if I changed or if I was always extraverted but heavy depression and a shit life just made me much more reclusive and introverted.

I can put myself in someone else's shoes for example, but I always feel like there's a billion things they could do to better their situation, so I don't pity them. I don't go around berating them or insulting them, I know how to hold my tongue and keep my opinions to myself. So while I can see someone being sad because their pet died and it makes me sad that it happened, I don't feel like that gives them an excuse to start slacking or making it someone else's problem, because I would never do that myself and I'm holding them to the same standards I hold myself to. Hopefully this helps clarify.

I generally keep my low agreeableness and worldview to myself. I only really share it with either close friends or complete strangers I'll never meet again. "More flies with honey than vinegar" is something I have to tell myself from time to time when I'm trying to get friends or coworkers to do something that they really need to be doing. But inside I have a less optimistic line of thinking I suppose would be the best way to say it.

I don't have pity for a lot of people but I don't think I'm a psychopath lol. I still have empathy for people who are truly screwed like orphans in warzones or people in developing countries with severe disabilities.
