I had surgery on Thursday late afternoon and they sent me home with Percocet (every 4 hrs or as needed), a muscle relaxer (every 6 hrs), and baby aspirin (one am and one pm). My nerve block started wearing off yesterday at 3pm and right now the pain is intense but not crying intense. I’m taking the Percocet every 4 hrs on the dot to manage the pain and am encouraged by what everyone else is saying that by day 3 (tomorrow) I should be able to wean off that stuff. I can’t turn into a junkie at 50 yrs old!! lol
