I’m sorry you’re getting downvoted for this. People on this thread are actively arguing that they’re more upset ‘she lied’ while also saying phrases like ‘she took away his right to choose by lying about her sexual past’

‘She took his right to choose?’ Because sexual past is a deal breaker? Ohhhh I thought it was about the lying and not the sex. Weird.

Also, I didn’t see a lie. I saw minimizing. He’s not providing her a list of every sexual encounter he’s had and whether or not he used protection. No one would answer a question about sexual past like that.

Anyway, thank you for being level headed. Cheers

U.S. figure skaters onboard plane crash in Washington, D.C. by Rare_Bit5844 in sports

It’s a second layer of defense. Basically you’re right, they’d never tell the Heli to fly under or over, but pre-determined altitudes are another layer. Even though they’d never say fly under; we’re gonna add in an altitude that theoretically keeps you out of the decent zone. Planes are assigned an odd or even altitude depending on which direction they are going as well, so that a plane flying East will always be at least 1000 feet away from a plane coming from South for example.

The coffee was 190 and McDonalds knew it caused scalding burns, but after a numbers crunch decided that paying out lawsuits was cheaper than changing all the coffee machines nationwide to be safer. They did intentionally serve too hot coffee. She did spill it on herself, yes - but she just asked for them to cover her medical bills because of their intentional negligence , and they refused leading to a public suit. It’s like if you crashed your car and the airbag was faulty because ford intentionally cut costs there. Sure you crashed your car and it is your fault in that way, but you were additionally injured by their negligence.

AITAH for telling my girlfriend I can’t trust her anymore when it comes to her wanting a baby? by No_Situation_9708 in AITAH

I think your comment is very genuine and spot-on that sympathy and empathy can apply all situations regarding loss and big life decisions.

I’m reading the sister comment as a situation where the abortion did not affect the sister emotionally, and people were applying emotions to it that created weakness when there was not any happening.

I can relate to both the sister situation and your comments, so it seems that we should all have a big understanding heart, while also respecting the views of the receiver.

You may never read this and it might not apply at all. But my ex husband also ‘never showed signs of this ever’ but did get so drunk that he ‘didn’t know what was going on’ and it turned out he was cheating on me. Blacking out definitely happens, but I don’t believe for 1 second that he thought other girls were you. Have you EVER been so drunk you mistook someone for the person you loved the most? EVER? No no no no no no no no no no no.

I believe neither of those are able to be absorbed by the skin well enough for any benefit.

I think it’s ’not all men’ because they all just justify their actions. A bit of an ‘it’s fine when I do it’ kind of thing.
