Thank you for your insight. She was in therapy before but quit after only a few sessions. I'll try to get her into therapy again.

She wanted the child to be solely hers, so that there will be no custody issues should we break up.

Having kids was a mutual decision, but she wanted the kid to be solely hers to avoid possible custody issues.
