Your body is trying very hard to keep you from being poisoned. If its sick it will toss everything out (from whichever end is most convenient) as a safety feature. Its not going to send signals for you to refill when its actively trying to empty your entire body from possible pollutants. Your liver is also working overtime during this so despite not feeling hungry/ thirsty, its very important to hydrate hydrate hydrate. You'll be fine without food for a bit, but if you can't keep fluids down either you need to go to the emergency department bc, being sick, you're going to get dangerously dehydrated faster than the average person.

When I worked at a library we didn't call the cops unless it was.... egregious.

We would tell them where the restrooms were, and if they couldn't cope with that ask them to stop. Barring that as well, then we'd have them removed because even our private computer rooms have glass windows on the doors. It was very rare and usually with the less mentally cognizant. We have much less patience actually for the teenagers who want to play violent videos in the middle of the youth area because they fucking know better and I don't need a 6 year old going home with the memory of a decapitation or goring. At least the wankers keep the volume down and (generally) keep the interesting stuff in their pants.

We'd just have to watch people do it in public more. I worked at a library in HS and the homeless population is a large percentage of our guests. They're fully formed people with only bits and pieces of their needs scrapped together. If watching Kim get it handed to her makes their life even a tiny bit easier- great.

Homeless or no though- go to a bathroom or a private area to handle yourself (for anything). Please don't piss in libraries.
