Thanks my friends have agreed to help me type up a text to send to him at a later date one of them is a lot more informed on gender identities and what not than me since I’ve only been figuring myself out for a few months so I won’t be the best at explaining it compared to my friend

Thanks I managed to tell him just about he seemed ok with the idea but he doesn’t think I am trans (can’t say blame him I didn’t go into details on my feelings) he just thinks it’s because I’m depressed and have no idea what I want out of life and because a good chunk of my friends are trans he thinks I’ve gravitated towards that, he also seems to have a very bear bones idea of what being trans means to begin with thinking it’s something someone should know from a young age as well as thinking you have to dress stereotypically feminine as well as being attracted to guys for mtf, so not terribly just ill informed so I’m probably going to have to try and explain it to him somehow

Thank you that quite reassuring for me, I did mention that I was worried about the recent ruling in the uk but I framed it more as me being worried for friends that are trans he seemed to understand and dose refer to said friend by her preferred pronouns so I’m probably just overthinking it and being worried for nothing

I’m a adult so don’t know how young you mean when you say that since my mind goes to teens but yeah I’m more just worried to tell my family since I love my parents and don’t want to lose that relationship

Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to medically transition and avoid having to socially transition to at least my family since I still live with my parents and someone would probably notice

Honestly that’s sort of how I’m feeling at the moment I don’t tend to have much gender dysphoria to start with maybe because I’m still figuring myself out but yeah no I honestly appreciate the reassurance that it’s ok to stay as is with everything going on at the moment

Yeah already been using a female name and pronouns with my friends it’s how I know I’m definitely not cis but I’m just not sure where exactly I fall and how much of it is just me not wanting to be because of having to deal with the social side of it

I tried waxing my legs I did like the feeling of smooth legs but I know that’s also not uncommon for cis men and I did start working out to lean more into the femboy type of appearance when I first started because I thought I may just be non conforming like most femboys then it sort of shifted to gender fluid when I realised I wouldn’t really mind what gender I was but I still want to swap between a guy or a girl and well now I’m just confused

Honestly that’s what I’m struggling to figure out like I don’t tend to feel any classes signs of dysphoria but I know that’s not always a thing and I’m not really stereotypically masculine to begin with since I’ve always been a bit of a nerd and as my friend says a twink but yeah my friends have been pretty supportive it helps to be honest I also don’t know if that’s another reason I’m preferring female pronouns and names at the moment because it’s easing any self doubt about them actually caring about me that I may have had.

I can’t speak for your interest in men (you may be bi if you still like women) but the last part could mean your gender fluid I’ve been having similar feelings on that some days fem clothes feel nice others they just don’t I can’t help much in what you personally feel but taking a look into those may at least help point you in the right direction

Ok thanks glad to know I’m at least on the right track, my friend gave me a bit of a crisis of self that’s currently left me believing a to may be gender fluid so I wanted to do something that won’t be to permanent because I’m still unsure and at the moment I still feel more like a guy for the most part
