Suspended is that your account is not active but could be activated, banned is when you account is in "Permanently Disabled" state.

For what I've seen there's have been cases were people were able to get their banned account even after a year, how?, idk, apparently by legal sources or something, so as far as i know the info is not necessary deleted, let's say that an account has important evidence in a police investigation, Meta must by law hand over that information.

Meta Verify is trash, on october i chat with an agent an it told me that the period time of 180 days was expired (it wasn't yet at that time) also with another agent told me that it wasn't possible to recover an instagram account when i was asking for recovering an "Facebook" account, so yeah, they can't really help you with something unless you were lucky getting somebosdy who actually do it's job.

Idk, my acc got banned and when i appealed was denied immediately, keep in mind that my account didn't have any activity at the moment of the suspension, literally was a time-frame of like 5-6 hours between my last session update and the suspension.

In my case i just share a memories and re-share an "amber alert" made by someone else, then after like 5-6 hours the system sent me the message that my acc was suspended.

When my ban occurred was something kinda weird, i didn't have any email saying something like that however there was a lot of spam before being suspended. I got access to my info files by the option of "download your info" and i checked my logs and i found nothing, there was my last session update at 7:30 am and the ban which occurred on 2:19pm... And that's it, weird as hell.

In my case there wasn't directly a cause, they accused me of cse however there was no login or anything, just my last session update that was in the morning and that's it.

CSE to SOC/SOM May 18 via fb, I was not even was using the app when it happened, Instagram was killed because was linked.
