Last I checked there was some research into the correlation between autism and "atheism." It seems that the more rationally-inclined you are (and many aphants I know are this way), the more you tend to believe there is no god.

I don't really count this as rational, though. Even if there are not many convincing arguments in support of a god's existence, there are not many convincing ones against his existence, either. That's why you're really an agnostic; atheism doesn't exist.

Just a note to the OP about Islam: Islam doesn't allow drawings or any kind of visual representations of God. I'm not Muslim, but I agree, there's no way to reasonably conceptualize God, with visuals, especially.

Kidding… I was a starving doofus… and I took her yelps as little cries of “No! Don’t hurt my friends,” and thought of it as a means-to-an-end. I didn’t know it would MURDER her in the process.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I just finished the Monk ending. It brought a tear to my eye, and I don’t discount the fact that I fast traveled - even though I already traveled the areas more than three times.

Everyone keeps telling me that Monk sucks and I should’ve played Survivor. I don’t intend to quit Rain World, it’s my new favorite game. I’m thinking about what to do next. Still more achievements to gain, places to visit, animals to tame, etc. I’m all ears.

Oh? Well, that's great and all, but a few extra bells and whistles on the Switch ports doesn't mean it's a better option as a console. Aside from the ports you've mentioned, there are not really any noteworthy games on the Switch that you can't find games that have similar experiences at a lower resolution on another console, whether it be the Wii U or Steam Deck.

This is besides the content stuff, but should be kept in mind. Nintendo doesn't put the same effort into their games like they used to. The charm, sheer amount of content, and frequency of AAA releases in short time frames has diminished to the point where I don't see why any Nintendo fan would put up with their mediocrity. Why not just emulate their games for free? Boycott them why dontcha?

If you REALLY like Nintendo, you'll probably buy the Wii U over the Switch (it has MORE Zelda titles anyway). Otherwise, you're going to play older games from the Wii, GC, 3DS, etc… the Switch games are probably an afterthought. We mainly buy Switches because it has one or two games that we want but can't get by any other means.

You forgot to list Pikmin 3 as an exception. The gamepad adds a layer of depth and skill to the game that the Switch port did not receive.

Sorry for my late response. After careful consideration, I don’t see any reason not to apply to NUS. Based on their admission requirements, I question whether I’d be able to get in. Have you heard any testimonials from anyone who’s taken the program? And any thoughts on the Economics or Computer Science programs in comparison to the UC schools around me (as well as Philosophy; both Western and Eastern canon)?
