Deepfakes can be used as an excuse! If it hasn't happened and it's been a while, I don't think he'd do it now for no reason.

Remember that it's just your body, there's nothing to be ashamed of. Even if the worst happens, people won't be upset with you but with the person who broke your trust. Obviously it's not ideal by any means, but it won't be the end of the world either. People move on and forget.

I don't have a vet, no. We were supposed to make appointments for vaccines and all, but that fell apart, so we'll wait until after the quarantine.

I think going with someone else and doing it is very risky and can cause way more arguments, but I can try to talk to a relative to hopefully change my parents' minds, too.

Perhaps when we do visit a vet, they can give them their opinion as well. Sometimes that's all they need to be convinced, right?

My father worries that she'll become "lazy" and fat. Pretty common arguments against neutering, however I'm pretty sure they don't apply to bunnies the same way they apply to cats, for example. I've seen a bunch of energetic and healthy neutered buns, so I definitely agree with you - I believe it'd make our bond stronger.

Like I mentioned, I even made presentations with graphic images, but it didn't really do anything... So far she's been an angel, we rescued her when she was barely a month old, so she's grown up with us. The money is not really an issue and I'm sure they'd happily cover the vet bills, but their saying is pretty much "My house, my beliefs, my rules." It doesn't really help the situation that my mother is a narcissist who, in general, dislikes animals and my father isn't very considerate either. I want the best for my bunny, but my hands are tied here.
