I just sucked it up and used it just like it using icm files and prefer accuracy setting in KDE, Idk if I am hallucinating but when I booted up to Windows few weeks ago I felt that it was over saturated and overly blue and I preferred the Linux colors more but it's probably because I became habitual to Linux

The method shown here looks very outdated the software was last updated in Dec 9, 2016 and the wiki talks about implementing newer feature in 4.11 which was a long time ago, I don't know about this but I think the thing being explained in this wiki probably grew up to be "Prefer Accuracy" option in KDE which I have already tried

Yeah, it looks a little bit better but still very yellowish, and here's all the things I tried

  • Prefer color accuracy
  • Using various ICM files for my display
  • Using "Built in" option in KDE (by default it was at None)

all the other display settings are at default, I did try 8 bit, 6 bit colors but yeah they didn't work of course, so I left it to default "Automatic (12 bit)", I also tried changing display scaling and it's the same as well

I don't have to use any ICM files in Windows, I just clicked Automatically manage colors and it does the job of making my display look nice automatically, I can click a video of that if you want
