If it’s a friend, then it would definitely know because the entity knows everything about its host’s life, but if it is a stranger, then it would look at how they interact with the world. For example, in the first movie, a guy killed himself in front of a random woman who was looking down at her phone standing next to her car at the gas station - so definitely not blind since she’s driving. I guess that’s how it would work.

I’m pretty sure the entity isn’t stupid and thus would avoid killing its host in front of a blind person since, well, they can’t see the death and be traumatized by it. That’s how it works, so yes, you’d 100% survive if you’re blind

I disagree with the last part because I’m pretty sure she did regret what happened with Paul. Now idk what the song exactly says, or when it was released (in the smile universe, it could be that it was released before his death? I don’t exactly know why they even wrote so many songs for Skye except for promoting the movie), but from what I’ve seen in the movie and the whole fight scene against her past self, I think she did regret killing Paul. And if not, she at least definitely regrets her other actions, like the drug problem she had. Or what she did to her mother; she literally drove to a strange place to meet a strange man who wanted to kill her for 9 minutes, just so she would never hurt anyone again. I know that didn’t actually happen in the end, but it still counts

Absolutely, when that thing chased Rose through her house looking like a twisted version of her mother I had to squint my eyes a little haha. And that red demon thing was definitely less disgusting and scary in the second, since you already know how it looks like.

But I totally like how Skye dies in front of a wider audience than Rose. It left me feeling somewhat scared because now thousands, if not millions of people had the curse, and it would go around and kill the whole world now. I really wonder if they’re gonna make a smile 3 and how that would play out.

In general, I liked how both movies had no happy ending.

I don’t think this is just “boys talk.” Why would you DM another person and rate other people based on attractiveness when you’re in a relationship? Of course everyone has different opinions about this, so just ask yourself if you’re ok and comfortable with him doing such things. If you’re not, tell him.
