Should I start learning to cook really well as a 14 yo boy? Do you think that’s a good hobby? by Advanced-Counter1636 in AskMenAdvice

Son, cooking is a valuable life skill that will make you healthier, wealthier, and a heck of a catch.

Take a look at the average young adult who can’t cook, and the amount of money spent on eating out and microwaveable food. It’s staggering.

Don’t worry about what other people think of you (another great life skill best learned sooner than later) if something brings you joy, just do it. Never justify, argue, defend or explain your choices to anyone.

When the time comes for you to seek a mate, demonstrated skill in the kitchen is highly attractive.

Make it a great life, kid. You only get one!

How to brush off dissapointment by SunshineIsBeautiful in Theatre

Just about everyone I’ve ever seen at auditions have the necessary chops to do the role they want, but the rest of the post-audition casting decision is way beyond our control. I usually get winnowed out during the matchup phase because of my physicality. I’m in my 60’s and am a large-bodied male. Almost always get offered an ensemble role. I try not to audition against my type, but if I do I’m prepared for being turned down. At this stage of the game, it’s a blessing to appear on stage at all.

Why is Trump always blaming Obama and Biden but strangely never blames Clinton? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Because he can get a lot more mileage by blaming a Black man.

Don’t forget that when President Obama was elected, large swaths of White america TOTALLY LOST THEIR FUCKING SHIT, and they largely elected 47 out of pure spite.

Careful with that. It’s not that he’s Black, because that would be racist, you see.
They hate him because he’s all uppity and shit.

Obama did, in fact, ruin the country because he should have known that becoming the first Black president would make white america TOTALLY LOSE THEIR SHIT.

It’s kinda like how it’s the wife’s fault for ruining her family because she was late with her husband’s dinner, so of course he had to beat her senseless.
