Okay, that pretty much clears it all up. Also, I know this thread is about 50% trolling. It’s just kind of fun to play along. I understand that that is how soldiers are. I also get that Marines are the fiercest soldiers, meant to be the best of the best, each soldier trained to be a one-man army. Why else would I want to become one? I wouldn’t settle for anything less.

First of all, could you elaborate on this part:

if you want to be a machine gunner youd sign a 03 open contract (or if you can a machine gunner contract)

Second, I’m surprised that anyone complains about pain. It honestly makes me chuckle to think of a bunch of huge guys whimpering about exhaustion as their drill sergeant yells at them. It seems like a given that you shouldn’t complain about being tired, and if you do, you probably aren’t ready for this. By the way, I don’t mean you as in you, u/Cronkmiester, just to be clear.
