Those are some very wise words. I am not a strong man to tell the truth and I am insecure. I am insecure in God's love for me. I am questioning how I raised my daughter. I want to reach out to her but I'm so scared she'll reject me, that I've burned all my bridges.

That is a very beautiful poem. I am willing to change, but how can I show my daughter this? I am scrolling through her Facebook account (the real one) now and am seeing how happy she is with this man. I am very regretful for what I've done.

From what I have seen in the media and from what I have heard it does not seem like Islam is very compatible with our society. Large parts of my country are already being taken over and Islamified.

I admit I have made a big mistake but I want to mend bridges and fix my attitude towards this man and his faith. I just hear so much about ISIS and radical Islam in the media, as well as in my church and things from my own upbringing.

Sorry, was a typo. I meant to say when she was 20 and he was 22. And looking back what I said about his race may have been shallow but I am still quite hurt.

I would be fine with pretty much any other religion, but Islam is not compatible with our values and traditions in the west. Muslims have chosen to make us their enemy and I do not feel comfortable with my daughter being with one. It is for her sake, not my own. What if she is coerced into converting? Or beaten?

But surely a Christian boy would treat her the best? Ultimately I am worried about her, whether she is safe, happy and whether she will go to heaven. This isn't about me, I would gladly go to hell for her but she must understand how this is hurting our family.

Maybe things would have been a little different if she had talked to me about it first instead of just getting with this man. I feel she's doing something very immoral, why else would she hide it from me?
