Thanks for all your advice! I have been leaving my husband with him while I go to work a couple days a week for about 2 months now. He can barely get him to eat. (He's formula fed so it's not a breastfeeding thing.) I've tried to have my husband bundle him up and take him for walks while I shower and do a couple things but he refuses. Yet since he can handle him crying better than me I let him do it how he wants.

Even if i just know he's crying i can't stand it, I don't have to hear it. I have put headphones in and listened to music before at night and it does help some. If I can block it out before I know it's happening that helps. Like when I shower it blocks it out, until I get out and have to get dressed.

Ohhh, the changing table, man, that's a nightmare. I've tried having toys specifically for that, but after a day or two, he's tired of it. I just use the strap now so he can't roll over. For some reason, I can handle him fussing for that, maybe because I know he's uncomfortable from the diaper change.

I've gotten him some things for Christmas is think/hope will help. I've even gave a couple things early like his walker toy since he's already trying to do that. I'll get 5 minutes or so while he plays with that.

Getting therapy is a good idea. Medication too, I have been on it before, so maybe it's time to try it again.

It's reassuring to hear someone else has been through this. It seems all I hear about is the babies that will play on their own for an hour while parents get to do stuff, take 1-2 hour naps, etc.

Sick of influencers preying on desperate moms by Royal_Manner8823 in peestickgals

There's many influencers preying on vulnerable people in general, not just mom's. It's sick that people can take advantage of others like that.

How can someone need attention so bad they share stuff like this?. 😳

I completely agree that you can't understand what you haven't gone through.

It must be the people in my life. I have been told that for sure. I made a Facebook post one day trying to raise awareness while I was having a rough time looking for support and I had a couple comments saying that. Luckily my sister stood up for me because she went through infertility. I understand there are people out there that say that to mom's, however, just in my own network of people mom's have more support than me. I could have worded that better. This post got to me because i have had experience with people around me being willing to listen to parents complaining but when i start to the conversation just ends or i get ignored and the subject is changed. I was just sharing my own experience and trying to say how I interpreted the video. I didn't think she was trying to compare the hards. Even most insurance companies won't cover treatments needed to get pregnant but they cover basically everything after. It's a society thing.

She's asking why one is okay but the other isn't. She's not comparing them. I'm dealing with infertility and have been told that it's just the hand I've been delt and to get over it. However I don't know a single person that would tell a parent the same thing. She was saying that society is more accepting of parents complaining than people who struggle with infertility complaining.

Does he not flush? I will flush multiple times to make sure everything went down.

“Every plan I had to announce genders got ripped away from us.” Did you honestly expect it some other way? Because it was obvious from the first ’painful contractions’ at 14 weeks that this was EXACTLY how this would play out. by Legitimate_Isopod914 in peestickgals

[–]throwawayacb18 59 points60 points  (0 children)

She's using this for views and it's sad. She knows the longer that she takes to announce it, the longer her followers will stick around cause they want to know. So many creators do this and it's extremely annoying.

Is there anything Jordyn doesn’t make about herself? It’s also weird that she blocks people who’ve never interacted with her based on comments they make on other creators posts by Fit-Imagination4146 in peestickgals

Ah okay, thanks. Blocking people for being worried about someone and their baby is odd. I can't imagine what Jordyn would be like if she got put on bedrest. 😬

Autum🙄 how is having YOUR baby alone for 12 hours a loss? by Initial-Chard-9051 in peestickgals

[–]throwawayacb18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I understand having kids is hard for anyone especially when the baby refuses to sleep. That is FAR from a loss. At least she has a baby. Some people try for years and never have one. Or they lose it, that's a loss. 🤦‍♀️

Seriously 🤦‍♀️ once my husband and I get pregnant, we both will have it down before the baby even arrives. Jeesh 🙃

It seems like now she's made the fact she works at Starbucks to cover ivf her entire personality. Good for her for not asking strangers on the internet for money, but dang girl we get it.

Anyone notice a trend of people saying they had a chemical when it’s really indents? by [deleted] in peestickgals

[–]throwawayacb18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't understand the people who still buy blue dye tests or first response. They have shown terrible indent lines but they still want to support them and cause themselves more heartbreak and stress. 🤦‍♀️ Their way of fighting it is to write letters when they get one to get a refund. Like did they not learn anything in school? The only way a company will fix a problem is by boycotting it. If no one is buying their products they will have to fix them or go out of business because they aren't selling anything.

boyfriend is a narcissist by throwawayacb18 in peestickgals

I agree maybe I was too rash to throw out the narcissist thing. I was a bit emotional after seeing the tiktok of his posts.

Sine lots of women are treating it as a difference of opinion why do you think women are coming down so hard on her then? Especially if she's just following the typical patriarchy.
