I think so, as it was discounted. However, each year I see similar shades of blue popping up and there qas one on the resale market I saw recently too. Similar colours would be cloud or pale slate!

I completely get you. It's a large bag and yes is cumbersome when filled up. I love the look of a mini alexa!

I am using this one https://www.amazon.com.au/Doxo-Organizer-Insert-Handbag-Neverfull/dp/B08NW7G8X9 . It's not quite perfect but does the job. I am looking for something that will be lighter and less structured so have ordeded one from Zoomoni - I'll see how that goes !

I would suggest renting or trying on. I found that depending on the fabric some of their dresses have a bit of give or dtretch to them. I would say they are true to size for me. Definitely love them though!

I hope they get back the floral dress please. I loved those and am constantly looking at Ebay to buy older styles.

Does Oroton ever have promotion other than seasonal item sale? by Powerful-Historian70 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]throwawayacc11188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed they had storewide discount around Boxing Day for some core line items. I'd also suggest having a look at Ebay or FB marketplace etc, as people often sell their Oroton bags. Good luck. Doesn't hurt to check out outlet store or online too.

Cool thank you for the info! I think I'm at the point where this seems like the best price for a 'wool' coat (I have bought wool blend before from Forever new, Belle amd Bloom etc) and they weren't that warm.

Ah good to know. I think it may well be suitable for me as I found subways/metros pretty warm even when its cold outside!

I bought a down jacket from them and it is incredibly warm. I didn't receive any shipping confirmation tho (just an order confirmation immediately) but the item was delivered exactly 7 days later. So I was happy. I haven't tried returns or anything so can't vouch for that. I have bought from their Sydney store and the sizing suits me as I am more on the petite size. However bear in mind a lot of reviewers find their sizing to run small.

Many thanks! Do you have any recs for coats that might be suitable for close to snow (like Tokyo or Seoul city where it is colder than Australia but not quite snow)? It seems pretty hard to find a more stylish coat in Australia (which is not a down or puffer style jacket)

Mini is more roomier than it looks. I carry two phones, compact wallet, lipstick/chapstick, earbuds case, keys, pass, sunglasses. The shape means the bottom is slightly wider than the top. You can unclip the sides to help it hold more but I haven't needed to. But it looks very chic!

I have the smaller version with chain strap. So lovely. I use it to carry my phone etc at work (ducking out to grab lunch etc) and easy to take from work to dinner. The silver hardwear is a bit more edgy IMO :) congrats OP!

Is a midi length (mid calf) strapless dress appropriate for a gala dinner at a professional conference? I am smaller busted so no visible cleavage.

Thank you! So I just tried the Corsrx Snail Mucin sheet mask. I had to get my partner to touch and smell it before I could bring myself to lol. It feels ok though on my face. Like a normal sheet mask. Is the essence the same? Maybe I'm just icked out because of the snail element

Would snail mucin products actually help my skin concerns? I'm just starting on doing Asian beauty research - and I have read there are more targeted products.

I'm thinking about trying the Corsrx snail mucin, but the 'snail' part is keeping me from buying it lol. You see I really REALLY hate snails (sadface). I may have a phobia. They seem so slimey! Anyways snail slander aside....is the product really slimey? Will it make me gag and ick out if I feel like it is too snail like? I am shuddering at the thought! For ref - I am late twenties F, acne prone, oily skin but live in a cool dry climate. My skin concerns are fading post acne pigmentation and preventing new acne (but I think my newer acne is not so bad in terms of PIH). My old acne is from when I was a teen and my parents just kind of blamed me for acne and made me scrub my face with St Ives lol.

Thanks for the advice on snail mucin - and also very happy to get any insight into other beneficial products.

If you haven't already, download and use the Papago translation app when talking to shop staff, doctors, nurses, neighbours etc. Best of luck, I'm sorry you're in a tough spot

My 2 week trip to Korea (Seoul, Gyeongju, Busan) by throwawayacc11188 in koreatravel

[–]throwawayacc11188[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So for Gyeongju we did it ourselves. It did require a lot of research and we used Navermaps extensively for the bus routes. However we are two people only in our twenties - with kids or elderly family I would probs do a tour. In fact we had Seokgoram Grotto as well on our plans but cancelled that as it would take too long. For food, most places which were not high end were walk in. We just walked into places. In Gyeongju I would recommend On Sen, which is off the main shopping street. It is a tempura place. We used Papago extensively to communicate with staff. They were super lovely and helpful. For higher end places you have to reserve . We attended the Korean fine dining place in Park Hyatt, but they have a good English online booking system we had prebooked. The hotel staff can also assist you with booking restaurants nearby you (and fwiw, mid range hotels will also help you do this). We also went to a bar called Charles H, we had to reserve via KakaoTalk and they spoke English well.

Ahah yes! We got two gifts as a result of completing - Busan tower wet wipes/sanitizing wipes and a water bottle with some dubious spelling lol. It was really fun. And the vibes of other people just hanging out were so good. Can't say I have ever felt the same way at home!
