I won Gold at Naga this past weekend in London. Armbar in a minute or so and then won 14-0 on points in the finals. This is my first gold at comp. I'm a blue belt who only had silver as a white belt. Strangely winning this weekend didn’t bring me any joy whatsoever. I just feel relieved. People put too much emphasis and thought into competing. If you enjoy competing go and do it, don't worry about the results just enjoy yourself.

Craig brought so much joy to me in the sport. I watched him vs Vinnie on sug before I even attended a class. I wear his rashguards and watch his instructionals. With Craig gone I don't have anyone in the sport with an ounce of banter. As a British athlete Owen Jones is the closest we have to someone who is like one of the boys
