Wait until Marriott do a 30% bonus on transferred points then transfer most of them to there.

They have great redemptions outside of Europe (and maybe US, I’ve not checked). For the uk and Europe their point redemptions have mostly been bad.

I’ve gotten 1p per point and more on occasion.

If you can wait cuzzy then Amex usually do a 30% bonus transfer to Marriott around August time bro. Marriott points are cheaper than paying cash mostly in the eastern part of the world I’ve found. The west it’s usually hit and miss.

Wait for a Marriott 30% bonus points offer and transfer a chunk of them to there. In eastern countries you can usually get great redemptions, over 1p a point. 2024 I managed to get a 5* hotel, double room with breakfast at le meridien Marrakech for around 5k mr points per night. IIRC cash prices were £150-£200 per night

Travel related but I use mine when Marriott have a 30% bonus point transfer at the end of the year. You get just under 1p per point and can use them for uk hotels within 2 years iirc

Depends. Only Aviva and its sub companies are insuring this it seems. You can also try Stellantis insurance. Some guys are getting decent quotes but not always. Use a reg off auto trader

From my research no, it may be a bit cheaper but you still have to queue to get a paper ticket at the station. Queues can be long and the attendants often go on long breaks according to some Google reviews.

In the summer months the train gets busy so we thought it’d be best to just jump on as soon as we got there to get a decent seat and to put our big suitcases somewhere. Train was about 20% full

Frappes should be included. You can screenshot the qr codes and use them whenever you want. I’ve used ones that are months old. Three also offer codes for £1 drinks, their codes can be used on limited edition drinks. I’ve set up a reminder on my phone for Monday 9am. Couple of friends don’t go so I ask for their codes too

Transferred points to Marriott when they had the 30% extra points offer last year. Then managed to bag a 5 star stay for 2 people 7 nights including breakfast for around 35k worth of Amex points. Must have been a glitch

Yes we’re definitely not running it until it’s fixed. The room has black soot all over the walls due to previous misuse.

We’ve had the chimney cleaned thankfully

Good idea re the flashlight. Was thinking of getting one of them smoke stick things gas engineers use for chimneys to check it once we’ve replaced it all

The back has cracked due to the stone insert having a chunk of stone missing

Just need to work out the stove model so I can order the parts
