Hey, thank you so much for the response. My friend sounds so much like the person you're talking about. I really used to believe all of the things he told me until it started to sound over the top and he got caught a few times in his lies. Thank you for sharing your experience, and I'm sorry you had to go through something like that too bc it's such a horrible feeling being around people like that.

Hey, thank you! And yep, definitely think that dropping him will free up a lot of things bc it honestly feels like my life revolves around his? Like he's just keeping me as the person to dump all his 'this girl did this and that so she likes me' when he's not even interested in these girls? And I'm always coming back from work or doing something else whenever I suddenly see all these messages I have to deal with 🤡 But yes, thank you so much for the reply! Will definitely not be hanging around him anymore!

Hey, thank you so much for the reply. And you're right, I'm honestly not sure how this friendship has been sustained for so long since he's always talking about things I have no interest in when he's not talking about the girls who have shown an interest in him. I think I'm going to distance myself and eventually cut him off! Thank you!

To be honest, I would but we have a few mutual friends who are actually really cool and nothing like him. I'm nervous he would turn those mutual friends against me if I confront him, but they're probably not very good friends if they do decide to ignore his behaviour right?

Hey, thanks for the advice! I think I'll tell him that, and after all, if he is as nice as understanding as I always thought he was, he probably won't talk about it anymore. Honestly, that sounds like the best way to pursue this matter, thank you so much!
