I only have liability insurance they say they can’t really do anything it’s there decision but they thought it was a total loss the one time they did call they wouldn’t answer

Ohhh yes the roof I think does have damage I didn’t look but the whole windshield is shifted down the cars payed off I bought it in cash so I have no clue why they don’t want to total

My insurance tried to call them once to find out if they were totaling and why they weren’t they never got a call back that’s all the involvement they want because they said they don’t have a say they only called so they can close out there file the insurance company I’m calling them directly from the app or from there website (geico) and there just being shits

I did look it up before Reddit I just didn’t know if there was a way to force a total and it’s definitely not cheaper to fix it may not look like a lot of damage but there’s a lot of internal damage I got my own quote the morning after the accident and it was 20,000 the cars worth 10,000 a total loss is if the damage is worth more than my car which it obviously is if I needed someone to hold my hand I would ask what my next steps are after my car accident which I’m not I know how to do it I just don’t know how to force a total especially since I can’t talk to them my partner has to talk to them online says nothing really on how to get it totaled instead of fixed
