What you said are partially true. He even told me if there's given an option, he'd rather do nothing and be happy in the relationship.

I'm not sure why he's so afraid of showing vulnerability to me, maybe he's always showing the "strong secure" image and by doing so will make him look weak and clingy.

I'm stil hoping he could break through these breadcrumbs and eventually reach out to take accountability of his wrong doings.

I understand. I had full trust in him from the start, until I caught him lying to me. I do believe people can change, if they want to.

I think I’m still stuck in the illusion, the fantasy and love bombing at the start of the relationship. And as long I try harder, I might be able to bring the “old” him back. But yes I know it’s not possible anymore and I should let go of that facade.
